Transportation Utility Fee Forum: Monday, 9/25, 6-8pm, Old Farm Forum
City Council Round Tables - includes James Dorofi
Will confirm with Old Farm, but then invite SEBNA members to attend via the newsletter
Fire Chief comms around wildfires, sign-up for Deschutes Alerts, how to evacuate based on the conditions
Safety Concern List for NSSP process - review past list, add others and rank; ensure members know that prioritization happens across the city with very little budget and can take years even if high priority; will include in the newsletter
SEBNA News
Ken Atwell and Michelle Abbey resigned this month
With the small board we want to conserve our energy, focus on events and community building and meet a little less frequency
September Block Party "SE Bend Evening in the Park"
September 14th, 4-7pm confirmed with Bend Parks and Rec (Becky); and completed online form for the NA Trailer
Budget $1500: Reservation ($125), Dessert ($500), Music ($800)
Set-up starts at 2pm, cleanup complete by 9pm
Picnic in the park - you bring the picnic and we'll provide games and dessert, meet your neighbors
Trailer: BBQ, yard games for kids, tables, PA system, inventory
Music: 3-person band, 3-4 people, 90 minutes, sounding good; band 5-6:30pm $800 already paid and locked in, will be electric
Games: review the list of games available, invite others to bring games to share if they want
Dessert: SEBNA to buy dessert $500 via Costco; Have napkins and water on last years budget
Invitation/Promotion: Canva for newsletter, print for mailboxes, to Makayla (free?), Mountain High newsletter (Ken), Facebook sites (Timber Ridge, Hidden Hills), social advertising - Sara

Gas Station Update
LUBA oral appeal happened 7/25 - decision by 8/30, newsletter coming soon will include 30 minute presentation; hoping its remanded back to the city;
Sent letter to Michael Andretti; starting social media campaign that they are working against the Andretti family brand
NART Update
Jim working with a NART team around forming the NART mission statement
