NART Update
Old Farm having three events a year - do we want to combine? SEBNA Board wants to keep our event separate so that we can get to know SE Bend neighbors
For last month's meeting, it was mostly discussion around the NLA pause and talking about if and how NART should change in mission/direction/service in response to that; Makayla not funded for NAR
This month, I have some more detailed notes and can share at the meeting tonight (thought I'm sure Jim will want to share as well), but here are the basics:
What is NART? What are NART goals? Need to revisit mission statement and structure as NART was not focused on policy b/c NLA was handling that.
Help fill void of NLA
Be a resource to city and NAs
Improved communications. How?
Collaborative surveys
Communications subgroup – be more efficient and effective
Land Use subgroup
Keep an eye out for Envision survey analysis (due out in a few weeks)
Next NART meetings August 15th (mission statement focused) and 29th 5pm
